Rush!!! as Hotels in Singapore are on demand on this Christmas and New Year!!!!

If you are thinking to celebrate this Christmas and New Year 2012 Singapore, then hurry in booking the hotels and many people have already done so and it has been claimed that the Singapore hotels’ occupancy rate has been hiked between 5 to 30 percent when compared with the last year.

Singapore hotels organize parties on Christmas and New Year and hence people from Singapore and outside Singapore come specially to celebrate in Singapore.

The hotels in Marine Bay and Sentosa have already witnessed the occupancy of rooms by as much as 30 percent.

There are hotels that are fully booked from Christmas Day to the mid of January as Singapore has witnessed an increase in the number of tourists. Singaporeans also prefer to stay in hotels in this season and spend their vacations known as “staycations”.

Marine Mandarin Singapore’s Director of Marketing Communications,Ernawati Setijo, claimed that there has been an increase of 5 percent annually.

Hotel and Retaurant sector expects to have a growth of 5.9 percent in 2011 because of the demand of people to celebrate Christmas and New Year in hotels and enjoy the parties and special food there.
