Kuehs and Snacks is a relatively small air conditioned restaurant that is situated at Alexandra Village at Bukit Merah. It is amongst one of the many in a row of HDB shop houses on Alexandra road opposite the Alexandra Hospital and Quuensway Shopping Centre.

The eatery offers all Kueh aficionados, a variety of handmade kuehs and pastries. While the tempting rice kuehs are very cheap, they are a little bland for the taste buds. Howver, some kuehs are made more elaborately with ingredients such as peanuts, shiitake mushrooms, meat slices, etc. the tradition of kueh making is with real bamboo shoots is an art that this hotel has maintained really well.

The Wow Wow West restaurant is located at the Bukit Merah View Market and Food Centre in block 115. This is a small food stall that was discovered in the Redhill area and is not in close proximity to the major roads. The stall specializes in sumptuous chicken chop portions grilled and is accompanied by a combination of delicious coleslaw and big crispy potato fries. There are also some German sausages that are available here known as the German Frankfurters which are tasty and worth a try.

The Poh Cheu restaurant is located at Block 127 on Bukit Merah road. It has a range of specialty food items such as their hand made ang ku Kuehs. These are available in different fillings such as green bean, yam, peanut, durian, etc. they also offer traditional kuehs and pastries if one has a fascination for them.
The restaurants here include several other restaurants like Shun Xing which serve lip smacking items like the deep-fried food like green bean buns and coffee-flavored buns.
The Bukit Merah restaurants are famous and have simple as well as exotic delectable’s for all types of tourists. A visit to any of the food stalls here is a must!
