The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts provide artistic and professional training o talented youths in the field of art, design, music, dance and drama and develop their creativity and artistic potential to meet the needs of a knowledge-based economy and groom them to become excellent art practitioners.

It also strives to bridge the arts of the East and West, integrate the cultural differences of ethnic groups and promote a Nanyang style of artistic presentation along with scientific spirit and social awareness among the artists.
NAFA is affiliated with the University of Huddersfield, Loughborough University and University of Wales. The NAFA comprises of three departments, which offers diploma/degree/master/part-time courses in subjects relating to different kinds of art.
