The story of Jitterbugs Swingapore began with the return of Sing Lim, a successful copywriter to Singapore from London. It was in October 1994. In Singapore, Lim got the support of Chinese Girls School and the Lindy Hop community and this interaction induced the interest to produce a full 2-hour show "SWING OUT" for Singapore Arts Festival Fringe in 1995. Andrew Vassiliou also moved to Singapore and till 1999 Lim and Vassilio together taught,

| performed and competed in Australia, Japan, the United States and definitely in Singapore. Today Jitterbugs Swingerpore is quite a well-known dance and entertainment lifestyle company in Singapore. It is noted for building communities in Lindy Hop, Salsa, Jazz, Hip Hop. Performances, free classes and social parties form the main focus of Jitterbugs Swingapore. You must have heard of UrbanMix, the popular Street Jazz Performance Company of Jitterbugs Swingapore, which perform for corporate events in US China and Europe. Jitterbugs Swingapore aims at exploring the technical abilities of the dancers through latest styles. Let us come to the faculty members and the courses.

Jitterbugs Swingapore is well equipped with both the full time talented teachers of international standard as well as past timers. They often arrange for foreign guest teachers for about 6 to 12 months to incorporate new ideas into the performance style of the students.
The Developing Artist Programme is for the talented dancers of 17 years and above Kids Performance Programme is for the age group between 7 to 12 years. Both the courses are of 12 months span. Trainings are provided on:
