The very name of the institution "John and Josephine Dance Creative School" implies two proper names who surely deserve all credits for the present reputation of the school. It was John and Josephine, extremely talented couple affectionately known as J & J started their dancing careers about two decades ago. Apart from being a born genius they share a wonderful chemistry which earned lots of excellence awards and fame while they were competing around 1986. A wise decision was taken in 1995 when they desired to be professionals after winning more than 30 championships.

And just after 4 yrs we have John and Josephine Dance Creative School at Parklane Shopping Mall in the year 1999. Apart from rendering training to the students, the busy couple also performed in Asia and world and one of the most memorable achievements is definitely the invitation to perform in France. Before them no person of Singapore origin was invited for any kind of performance in France. So, at this context, John and Josephine Dance Creative is surely a national pride for Singapore.

The Lau couple has won South East Asia Latin American Dance Champions 10 times and with the 15 years of dance coaching experience they even represented Singapore in the World Latin Championships in Norway and Germany. Who can be more apt faculty member than these specialists in Latin American Dances, Social Dances and Latin Club Fance like Salsa. They are recognized People's Association Certified Instructors.

The major upcoming event of John and Josephine Dance Creative is Singapore Millennium 2007. And any discussion on the school cannot come to an end without a mention of The Singapore Millennium International Dancesport Championship in 2000 as the unexpected success in that event prompted the Tan couple to organize this as an annual affair.
John and Josephine Dance Creative is genuinely a pride of Singapore art as far as social and ballroom dance training and performances are concerned.
