Republic Polytechnic is the newest institution in Singapore. The problem-based learning is considered to be the main feature of the institution. It was established on 1st August 2002 but started its operations from July 2003.
Singapore Polytechnic was founded in the year 1954 and is considered to be the first polytechnic established in the nation. Till 2006 more than 135000 students have completed their graduation from the institution. The institution is well known for its high standard of education.
Temasek Polytechnic established on 6th April 1990 covers an area of 30 hectares of land. It lies in the eastern part of Singapore and overlooks the Bedok Reservoir. There are near about 13,000 full time students in Temasek Polytechnic and over 1,000 academic staff.
