A full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student enrolled in a university that is a member of AEH can apply for this scholarship. Under the AEH scheme, the applicant is only eligible to apply for a scholarship offered by a member university in the other region. In other words, an Asian student must apply for an AEH scholarship to study in Europe and vice-versa.

The AEH-EARN Scholarships are offered to students nominated by the European AEH member universities and the students are admitted to NUS as non-graduating exchange students participating in the Student Exchange Programme. Each scholarship, based on merit, includes the waiver of tuition fees at NUS for one semester, and a sum of S$2,900 (approx. 1,500 Euros) to cover personal and living expenses.

Only exchange students of the Student Exchange Programmes partner universities will be eligible to apply for admission as an Exchange Student of NUS on a non-graduating basis.

Applicants must -

o   Be proficient in the English language

o   Be academically qualified for the undergraduate/graduate course-work and/or graduate research they wish to pursue at NUS

o   Fulfill any requirements under the Student Exchange Programme Memorandum of Understanding.

o   Fulfill any prerequisites for the course-work and/or research that they wish to pursue.
