Admission Procedure of Australian International School
The Australian International School Singapore is admits students of all nationalities. For a child with non English speaking background English is offered as a Second Language and Intensive Language courses
With regards to the enrolment procedure, the application form must be duly filled accompanied by the non refundable registration fee with all relevant documents attached.
It is essential to submit the past two years of school reports and any additional specialist documentation to the Head of School and the Head of Individual Needs in order to assess the needs of the student.In case of non admission the Registration fee is refunded. Returning students within 12 months of leaving the AISS are exempt from the Registration Fee. For admission to year 11 & 12 (HSC) an entrance examination will be taken. If required Year 10 literacy and numeracy tests may also to be given. The tests can be done at AISS in Singapore or at the current school of the child. Admissions for mainstream curriculum will be given priority whereas for students who require learning support they will have to go through assessments. The Australian International School Singapore does not encourage students with intellectual disabilities, physical handicaps or pronounced social, emotional or behavioral difficulties. Students with learning differences must be able to function within a regular classroom given the available support services.

The school is well equipped with facilities essential for all round development of the child. The school has a huge oval ground which is utilized for playing games and other sports during lunch and other breaks. There are 2 fully air conditioned gymnasiums for children to play basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton etc. On the roof the gymnasium two tennis courts along with a court for netball has been provided. A 25 meter swimming pool is provided for swimming practice and sessions. A canteen provides food made according to local cuisine and western cuisine. A full fledged air conditioned library is open for students and parents as well. The Secondary School can accommodate 450 students from years 7 -12. The Primary School can accommodate 810 students. The ICT Department has 5 laboratories well equipped with software suitable for all age groups of the students. The Pre-School section has the ground floor for its exclusive use along with a separate play area and shaded lunch area for the children. An auditorium with a capacity of 350 seats is utilized during assemblies and special functions.The campus of the school is huge and well equipped to satisfy the recreational needs of the children. There is specialized staff teaching at all levels of the schools such as secondary, primary and pre-school. The school is managed by the principal, deputy principal and development manager. The library is also adequately staffed and there is nurse at the school from 8am to 4 pm.
Fees Structure of Australian International School
The school fees include all books, stationery, Parent Association membership and are based on a 4 term year, unless stated otherwise. School fees include School fees are payable one calendar month before the student joins the school and then prior to the start of each term. School fees are pro-rated if the student begins tuition after the term has commenced. There is a registration fee of $2675 which is non refundable. A refundable deposit of $2500 – $5000 is taken as per the school level of child for which admission is sought. A one time infrastructure fee of $ 3210 is taken at the admission time. There are various fee structures for all levels of the school, for additional English language courses taken and examination fees for year 10 and 12. All the fees are taken in Singapore dollar and a 7% local GST is included in the fees wherever applicable. All fees have to be deposited within seven days of intimation of the admission.
