In 2004, NTU launched the Global Immersion Programme, through which selected undergraduate students have the opportunity to study overseas, so they can learn and grasp global challenges.
The Ministry of Education in Singapore (MOE) also offers career opportunities in the field of teaching, executive and administration. The MOE has also introduced a GROW package, catering to the personal and professional development of teachers. Singapore's vision of becoming a Global Schoolhouse has resulted in many leading international universities establishing a presence here. These include Massachusetts Institute of Technology, INSEAD, John Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology, Technical University of Einhoven, Technical University of Munich, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Stanford University. |
