Info-Communications Technology

As an emerging knowledge economy, Singapore is riding the global tide in info-communications technology (ICT). Singapore intends to become a global hub in Asia for the digital economy. The emphasis is on the creation, development and delivery of content and innovation services for the global market. ICT activities span the range of manufacturing, wholesale, and retail activities.

As with the pace of change in technology, Singapore's infocomm landscape is set to witness exciting developments in the years to come.
This is the premise of Intelligent Nation 2015 or iN2015 - a 10-year master plan to grow the infocomm sector, and chart the use of technology for work, life and leisure.

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) concentrates on the development and promotion of Singapore's vibrant infocomm industry. The IDA, under the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts, formulates transparent policies to ensure a competitive environment in Singapore's telecommunications market, supports IT training and infocomm skill development programmes.

IDA forges the gap between Singapore and the world by encouraging foreign infocomm companies to set up their regional base in Singapore. IDA also offers exciting career opportunities in Business Transformation & Industry Development, CEO's office, Infocomm Security & Trust Division, Infrastructure & Manpower Development Group, International Division and Policy & Competition Development Group.
