Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom Museum

The Butterfly Kingdom and Insect Kingdom Museum is one of the most sought after tourist sites of Singapore and this can be deducted from the fact that it attracts a large number of crowd.

As is implied by its name the Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom Museum is the home to around 50 species of butterfly that are 15,000 in number. Majority of the butterflies of this museum belong to the tropical islands of Asia. These butterflies have the capacity to arrest the attention of the viewers and the credit for it goes to the uniqueness of the colors of the butterflies.
This museum also features a walk¯in aviary that includes free- flying butterflies that are approximately about 2,500 in number and a courtyard that is the home to the world's most amazing sketches that depict the life¯ cycle of the butterflies in its own unique way.
It is required to mention here that the Insect Kingdom features about 3,000 species of insects that are rare. For insect viewing enter the cave that extends for about 70 meters. At this cave you can get close with the rhino beetles, scorpions and the giant spiders. These insects have been attributed the title of the Kings of the Insect World. At this museum or at this cave you also get to learn the necessary measures required for the handling of the insects. At the Stick Insect Safari just make an attempt to pick up a stick insect if you only manage to notice them.

Also for the visitors are displayed the metamorphosis of the silk month and the cyclorama of the sub aquatic insects.
