Custom Formalities Singapore.

Singapore is known to be a dynamic city and it's a nation where you would be able to witness a fine blend of the architecture, cuisine, arts and culture. Though this nation has embraced modernism, it has preserved the old traditions and the historical sites would give you an insight into the glamorous past of Singapore. Stated below are some of the points regarding the Custom Formalities in Singapore, which you should get acquainted with if you are planning a trip to Singapore in the near future.
As far as currency is concerned, there are no restrictions; therefore you can carry any amount of currency according to your own will.
If you are 18 years of age or more and you are traveling to Singapore from any other country apart from Malaysia then, if you wish you could carry one litre of wine/port, one litre of ale/stout/beer and one litre of spirit.
If the dutiable items that you are carrying with you exceeds the limit that has been allotted, then for your convenience you can leave the excess dutiable items with the Customs Bond, until you are ready to board the fight. You would have to keep in mind the fact that the entry point is the same and if you opt for this facility then you are required to pay.
The dutiable items are sugar confectionary, jewelry, pastries, cakes, biscuits, wallets, chocolate, leather bags and accessories. If the amount of these items is well within the limit then it would be duty free.
The item or products that are prohibited by Singapore are fire crackers, drugs, toy currency notes as well as toy coins, obscene publications, endangered wild life creatures, cigarette lighters in the shape of a revolver/pistol and seditious materials.
Medicines are allowed provided you have a prescription.
