The School Term Holidays in Singapore is the ideal time for the students to get to another destination with friends or family or close associates.
The Singapore School Term Holidays offers the students with a good break from the boring and monotonous school life. These holidays are also necessary as it enables the students when the school re-opens to pay full attention to the lessons of the class and it also arouses the desire in the students to get involved with studies.

1st Semester
After the first term the students get a break for nine days that is from the 10th of March to the 18th of March.
After the second term the schools remains closed for nearly one month that is from the 26th of May to the 24th of June.

The residents or rather the parents of the school students if they wish can make full use of this opportunity to fly off to another destination with their children to enjoy every moment of the holidays or students can get involved with a short course in the field of their interest.
Second Semester
After the completion of the third term for only nine days that is from the 1st September to 9th September the students are entitled for a holiday.
After the fourth term gets over the students can go off for a holiday, as the schools remain closed for more than one month that is from 17th November to 31st December.

These days are used for the preparations of the festivals such as the, Christmas (the most important festival of the Christians) and New Year. The preparations include the decoration of the houses, preparing various kinds of meals, making various types of crafts and others kinds of activities.
