As far as the public holidays or the school holidays or the school term holidays of Singapore are concerned they are quite a few in number. Apart from the holidays there are other days as well as festivals that are not observed in Singapore as national holidays but are nonetheless celebrated with much pomp and vigor by few section of local citizens of Singapore.

Thaipusam - It is observed in the month of January by a certain section of people of Singapore

Valentines Day - It is celebrated on the 14th February
Total Defence Day - The date of its celebration is 15th February. History tells us that in the year 1942 on 15th February the nation of Singapore surrendered itself to the Japanese and from then onwards it came under the rule of Japan.
8th March - International Women's Day
1st April - April Fool's Day
Spring Sunday - Easter celebrations are observed on this day. The date of this festival varies in accordance with the lunar calendar.
5th Solar Term at the start of the month of April - Qingming Festival
