Singapore records relative low cost hospitals compared to other developed countries in Europe and South East Asia. It has an efficient system as well with WHO rankings giving it a 6th position in terms of healthcare benefits and infrastructure. The World Health Report data reveals the lowest rate in infant mortality for around 2 decades now. Adult obesity and HIV affected deaths are also low.     The bed and ward charges in Singapore hospitals as of April 1, 2012 stands same for a foreign resident and Singapore citizen. Foreign residents are those who are employment pass holders. The prices for non-resident/tourist may be extra in some cases. The list here shows ward charges as given by different hospitals and clinics. Please note, that there is 7 per cent GST levied on the given rates and medicinal bills are not included.
