Singapore Legal Services is run by 290 officers with the motive of administering justice in a very fair manner and thereby keeping the law and order of the country intact and promoting the rule of law in Singapore.
The Singapore Legal Services can be divided into two branches:
Judicial Branch- This includes the legal operations of Supreme Court and Subordinate Courts of Singapore.
Legal Branch- This branch of Singapore Legal Services can be further divided into following heads:
Attorney Generals Chambers- Under this group we have Criminal Justice , Civil, International Affairs,Legislation,Law Reform and Revision Divisions.

Legal Service Departments- This division includes Legal Services under Ministry of Defense, Legal Aid Bureau, Legal Policy Division under Ministry of Law and few more to follow.
Legal Service Departments in Statutory Boards- This is comprised of Legal and Enforcement Group,Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, and Singapore Land Authority.

The mission of Singapore Legal Services is to recruit dedicated officers who will work with integrity and efficiency to run the Judiciary Attorney General's Chamber and legal departments of Ministries and other branches of government and one can get an idea of the services that various legal divisions and officers provide from the Legal Service Commission Annual Report that is published every year to maintain transparency of the system.
In order to become a Legal Service Officer, one has to be a qualified person as par the criterion mentioned in the Chapter 161 of Legal Profession Act.

But once you are a Legal Service Officer of Singapore, you will be facilitated with annual increments in salary, bonus payments, housing and vehicle loans, holiday bungalows and medical facilities for your fair judgments and efficient handling of legal matters.
