A total change in the television industry of Singapore witnessed the development of the Singapore Media Corporation. The government of Singapore in the year 2001 allowed the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) to try its luck in the television industry in the sense that it permitted the SPH to provide tough competition to the other companies who have associated themselves with the industry of television of Singapore.
