Theravada Tradition.
Built in 1990 by Ven.U Pannya Vamsa, Sasanaramsi Burmese Buddhist Temple is the first and only Burmese Buddhist temple outside Burma (Myanmar). Its structural design is the same original Burmese conventional style. The temple houses an eleven feet high magnificent marble image of Buddha that weighs ten tons. The temple has a Sunday Dhamma school, where Pali chanting, dhamma classes for adults and children are conducted. Math tuitions and Meditation classes are also provided.
