The Catholic Church of Saint Ignatius opened in 1961. The person mainly responsible for building the Church was Father Kevin O'Dwyer. The facilities of the Church include a parish hall, catechetical centre and a sanctuary. The parish hall was extended to include the Sacred Heart Hall where religious classes and meetings are conducted.
