Sri Vairavimada Kaliamman Temple originally stood at Killney Road but was relocated twice, once to Orchard Road and then to Somerset Road. The temple then, permanently settled at Toa Payoh in 1982. The temple has a main hall and several sanctums. It offers Saraswathy kindergarten - the first Indian pre-school in Singapore and social welfare programmes including legal counseling. This temple is also one of the oldest Hindu temples in Singapore.
