In 1991, the Singapore Government offered land to the trustees of Gurdwara Sahib Guru Khalsa Sabha Sembawang and Gurdwara Sahib Jalan Kayu, to construct a new Gurdwara. The two merged, thereby creating Gurdwara Sahib Yishun. Facilities at the Gurdwara include a prayer hall, kitchen, library/meeting room, office and accommodation for Granthis.
