Gurdwara Sahib Silat (Silat Road Gurdwara) was built in 1924 to accommodate the Sikh contingent, which had grown in size. The Gurdwara gained popularity after a tombstone, believed to be that of Bhai Maharaj Singh, who agitated against the British occupation of Punjab, was brought to Silat Road Gurdwara. |
