Singapore Shooting Association is the national authority for shooting in Singapore. It covers the activities related to Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun etc. This is the only national authority on shooting which is related to International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). The Association works to coordinate regulate advice and administers all matters related to the shooting sports. It aims to become a premier Asian nation in competitive and sport shooting. The Singapore Shooting Association – National Shooting Centre is located at 990, Old Choa Chu Kang Road, S699814.

The Association wants to offer to the nation an active and thriving shooting community which would develop the sport. It wants to produce dedicated sports people who will stay involved and actively promote the sport. The lot should thus present a highly trained and loyal set of professional who will prove their worth at national and international events.

The facilities include two superimposed Trap and Skeet ranges, three open 50-metre ranges, 16 lanes of 50-metre range and 20 lanes of 25-metre(10 convertible to 10-metre) ranges which are as prescribed by the ISSF and sport shooting disciplines. Some of the other facilities include a canteen, showers, lockers and adequate parking facilities along with the offices of the Singapore Shooting Association, Singapore Gun Club and Singapore Rifle Association.

The shooting events are usually held on week ends and have fixed schedules. While registering one can register in the following categories :

25m Standard Pistol/50 m Rifle 3 Positions
Rifle shooting is being practiced all over the world since a long time, and has secured a place in the Olympic Games. The Singapore Shooting Association in co ordination with Singapore Sports School actively train interested sports people in this game.
