The Changi Chapel was build by POWs at the Changi Prison, when Singapore was under Japanese occupation. After the war, the Chapel was dismantled and taken to Australia. The Singapore Government built a replica of the Chapel and a Museum in 1988. The Museum showcases a collection of paintings, photographs and personal items that belonged to the former prisoners at Changi. |
