The other factors that have enabled the nation/city/island of Singapore to stabilize its trade relations with other countries are the work infrastructure, work environment, professional as well as skilled workers and a few other factors as well.

The bilateral ties that exist between Singapore and Panama got strengthened, in the year 2006, in the month of March as both these nations signed the PSFTA (Panama-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.). The PSFTA is an agreement that includes areas such as financial services, competition policy, science and technology, government procurement, investment, e-commerce, investment promotion, customs procedure and trade in goods and services. Singapore's biggest trading partner in Latin America is Panama and this signing of the agreement will enhance the investment as well as the trade links between Panama and Singapore.

Peru and Singapore have ended their second round of negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement that will fortify the investment and trade relations between these two nations. The areas that have been covered up are the, institutional barriers, customs procedure, trade in goods, government procedure technical barriers that affect the trade, rules of origin, trade remedies, trade in goods, trade services and investment. The third round of agreement, would take place in the month of August or September.
The bilateral trade between Qatar and Singapore has increased immensely in the last ten years and Singapore at present is the third largest export market of Qatar. In the last year, the Qatar Urban and Planning Development as well as the Qatar Public Works Authority have made the effort to sent working delegations to Singapore
