Through the creation of a calendar of exciting world-class events, SSC attempts to promote Singapore as a regional sports hub. Some of the events, which have enjoyed successful beginnings, are Aviva Open Singapore (Badminton), Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (Athletics), Caltex Singapore Masters (Golf) and Standard Chartered Singapore Sevens (Rugby).
