The desserts in Singapore bear strong influence of the Chinese, Thai and Indian spreads. The people with a special bending towards sweet dishes appreciate the wide use of syrup and condensed milk. Bubur Cha Cha: The tasty dessert preparation is served either hot or cold. The dessert comprises of yam and coconut milk served along with coconut milk and sago.
Chendol: Brown sugar, green starch strips and red beans are added to the coconut milk for preparing an exotic drink.
Cheng tng: The refreshing soup is served either hot or cold according to the choice of the customer. The soup comprises of longans, agar agar strips, barley, lotus seeds and sweet syrup.

Red rubies: This is a Thai-inspired dessert and consists of boiled water chestnuts, rose syrup, shaved ice and evaporated milk. The dish is also known as "mock pomegranate". Soya bean curd: In this dessert syrup is added to sweeten hot soya bean curd. Tangyuan: The dessert is also known as Ah Balling. In this dish rice balls are served in a tasty soup.
