East Coast Park
Located in the Southeastern coast of Singapore this park was opened in 1970s and is the largest park in Singapore covering 185 hectares. It is built on reclaimed land and has a man-made beach. Some of the facilities available in this park are barbecue pits, food and drinks, sports activities, and a cycling and rollerblading track.
It is also a nice spot to have a quite picnic with family and friends while getting refreshing under the casuarinas and the coconut palms.

Jurong Bird park Singapore
Located at Jurong Hill, the Jurong Birdpark houses one of the largest and grandest collections of birds in the world. The best time to visit the park would be in the dawn when you can catch most of the birds in their routine acts.
Adjoining the Jurong Birdpark is the Jurong Crocodile Paradise housing more than 3000 crocodiles. The Crocodile Paradise is open from 9hours to 18 hours everyday and there are crocodile shows at regular intervals.
National Orchid Garden
A feast for orchid lovers the National Orchid Garden displays almost twenty thousand orchids.
Sprawling over three hectares of land, it was opened on 20th October 1995 by Singaporean Minister Lee Kuan Yew and is situated on the highest hill of Singapore Botanic Gardens.

There are over 400 species of orchids and almost 2000 hybrids.
A striking feature of the garden is its construction plan with four distinct sections. The zones divided according to seasons comprise the winter zone with its colors of whites and fresh blues, the autumn with more austere shades, the spring zone of bright light hues such as cream, yellow and gold, and finally the summer zone with striking tones of red and pink. The color uniformity is achieved by carefully matching the flowers and foliage of the orchids.
The VIP gardens have sections named after state visitors and VIPs from Singapore.
Night Safari
The Night Safari located at Mandai Lake Road provides a fascinating peek into the nightlife of the wild. It is home to almost thousands of animals of about hundred different species. Experience the thrill of a nocturnal adventure and enjoy the sounds and sights of animal nightlife.
Pasir Ris Park
A beach park located in the northeastern part of Singapore, it has mangrove forests, a Bird Watching Tower, cycling track and barbecue pits and dining. Some great resorts nearby link to this park, which also has a very popular beach.
Pulau Ubin Recreation Park
Pulau Ubin is a nature park with its thatched house roofs, dirt paths, orchards and wild life. It is situated in the northeastern tip of Singapore and is good place to just enjoy relaxed and refreshing strolls. Other interesting attractions are the granite quarries, rubber and coconut plantations, mangrove swamps and fish farming.
Singapore Zoological Gardens
Reserve an entire day of in your schedule to visit the Zoological Gardens that is host to almost two thousand animals of at least 240 species. This abode of copious greenery is a safe and pleasant replicate endeavor of the natural habitats of most animals.
Walking around the zoo one can enjoy the cascading fall of waters, some magnificent scenic views of the Seletar Reservoir apart from other attractions such as the Children's World, Primate Kingdom and Wild Africa
