Lau Pa Sat (Festival Market)

Centrally located, on Shenton Way, this is a very popular Food Court among office goers of Singapore's CBD (Central Business District) as well as foreign tourists and offers a rich variety of cuisines from local Chinese to Indian to Italian. Lau Pa Sat is easily accessible by bus & MRT. Tourists keen on going to Singapore's very own Festival Food Mart, Lau Pa Sat; need to alight at Raffle's Place MRT Station and take exit C and walk straight. In a few minutes one can reach this busy food court and savor its sights, sounds and cuisine at a very reasonable price.

For the fast food junkies, Singapore is a haven. McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, and Pizza Hut - you name it and its there, just around the corner! Self-help kiosks are omnipresent from which one can help them selves to a drink by simply inserting a dollar and few cents. Littering is not permitted in Singapore and Food & Drinks are strictly not allowed in the MRT.
Tourists and visitors should remember this at all times to avoid any inconvenience later. Offenders will definitely be penalized so it's better to be safe rather than being sorry!

Ginseng, a traditional Chinese herb, is very popular among the local Chinese for its medicinal properties. Ginseng Tea has antioxidants, which supposedly slow down the process of ageing, so it is highly recommended
