Holland Village is named after an architect and an amateur actor called Hugh Holland ho had made Singapore his home. Holland Village is located near the Buona Vista MRT Station close to the Queenstown area in Singapore. This commercial enclave is oft visited for its food joints and shops selling antiques, straw items, electronics, and best buys from factory outlets. Regular visitors here include the young Singaporeans and the expatriates.
The Holland Village is full of hustle and bustle most of the times. But during the weekends, the Holland Village experiences the most activity as people often come here to avail of best bargains and relish food from some of the traditional as well as modern eateries in the area.

The Holland Village Shopping mall is a landmark of the area and can be recongnised by the windmall at the top. For a full fledged shopping experince there are two centres which prove your visit worthwhile here viz Holland Road Shopping Centre and Holland V Shopping Mall. One can visit the Cold Storage supermarket branch, various antique shops, Guardian Pharmacy, 7-Eleven and a photo processing shop too.
