Apart from butterflies you will find as many as 3,000 species of the world's most beautiful and rarest of the rare insects. These insects include the largest Dynastes Hercules beetle.

The only one of its kind in Singapore and the entire region, the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom contains a courtyard outside the main exhibition hall, where you can find the panels of colorful sketches and photographs of the fascinating life cycle of these butterflies.

The aviary contains more than 2,500 free-flying butterflies and about 3,000 species of the world's most rare insects. The main attraction in the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom is the fireflies. The place is darkened during the day so that you can enjoy the illumination of the fireflies.

Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, Singapore opens from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm daily. There is nominal admission fee of SGD 10 for the adults and SGD 6 for children and seniors. The approximate touring time is 1 hr 30 mins.
