About Zoukout 2009
The music menu at ZoukOut lasts for about 14 hours and is accompanied by several other entertaining events. It is an outdoor dance music festival of the popular nightclub Zouk in Singapore. The clubbers enjoy dancing on the sand, and it is regarded as a rain or shine event. Attend this festival this year and experience the different forms of dancing along with different music types, and what is more interesting is that you can get a glimpse of some of the best DJs in the world in more than three music arenas. - DJ Armin Van Buuren, who has been voted as number one twice in the top 100 DJ Poll by DJ Mag, will be rocking the decks at ZoukOut this year. So, folks get ready to experience some uplifting euphoric music by this well renowned DJ.
- Simon Dunmore, the owner of Defected Records, is also planning to set the dance floor on fire with his really high spirited and exceptionally infectious sets. In addition you will be offered other all time dance-floor smashers from likes of Bob Sinclair, Kings of Tomorrow, Martin Solveig and Ame. So, get ready to enjoy a burning dance floor with Simon Dunmore and Shovell and Yasmeen.
- Well, the list doesn’t end here. ZoukOut young new blood or debutants are all set to enter the dance music scene with their rocking numbers. ‘The Martinez Brothers’ who have been performing high at Social Club (Paris) and Cielo (NYC), will bring the exact ZoukOut party mood with their highly energetic musical sets, they are popular for.
- Miss Kittin & The Hacker are promising to a commanding addition to this already rocking music line-up. They are known for their electro-clash movements and also for producing one of the most exciting pop tracks. This pair will rock the night with their perfectly evocative and accessible sound tracks at ZoukOut 2009.
