Seletar
Located in the northeastern area of the mainland, the Seletar Airport is much smaller than Changi International. Completed in 1929, it was Singapore's first international airport. It originally served as a military base for the British and remained under British management until 1968. Now it is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and serves as general aviation airport, mainly for chartered flights. Its destinations include Pulau Tioman and Redang Island in Malaysia. Seletar Airport also deals with some chartered flights to Batam, Indonesia.

Facilities consist of 2 check-in counters, an outdoor car park, 3 sets of credit card telephone, lavatory for the handicapped, soft drink vending machine and Passenger Service & VIP Lounge. Taxis are loacted outside the Arrival Meeting hall. There is no MRT station at Seletar Airport Terminal. Average waiting time for the skytrain is between 1 to 2 minutes. In the event when the skytrain is not in operation in the transit area travellators can be used.
Transfer passengers without onward boarding passes are to proceed to the Transfer counters to check-in for their connecting flights. Passengers traveling by Swiss International Airlines, United Airlines have to use Transfer C, Terminal 1. Passengers traveling by Cathay Pacific Airways have to check in Transfer D, Terminal 1. Passengers traveling by Lufthansa German Airlines, Malaysian Airlines have to use Transfer E, Terminal 2. SIN Terminal 2 serves domestic Singapore airlines and a number of international airlines. Passengers traveling by budget airlines such as Jetstar, Valuair and Thai Air Asia do not need a transfer but valid documents such passport, visa etc for clearing Customs and Immigration into Singapore. For those passengers check in is at the Departure Hall of the Connecting flight. Passengers connecting to a Tiger Airways flight have to clear Customs and Immigration and reach Terminal 2 basement to Budget Terminal to check-in via a free shuttle bus service.
