Littering is offence in Singapore. Chewing gums are not allowed there. First time offenders for littering have to pay a fine of around S$1000 and repeat offenders are fined up to S$2000 plus punishment like cleaning up of some public area.

Do not smoke in the public places in Singapore. Smoking in theatres, offices, buses, taxis, lifts, shopping centres and air-conditioned restaurants is prohibited. If you are caught smoking in these areas, you are fined up to S$1000.
